Day 2: Cali – Silvia – Popayán
From Cali we drive to Silvia, a little town famous for the indigenous tribe of the Guambianos living there. They are still practicing their old traditions and you can admire their beautiful purple and pink uniforms. In Silvia we start biking through the lush green hills of this region. In the afternoon, arrival in Popayan.

Day 3: Popayán – Paletera - Isnos – San Agustín
The trip continues across the central cordillera, passing the stunning Paramo landscape of the Purace National Park, towards San Agustin.

Day 4: San Agustin
After breakfast visit of the narrowest point of the Magdalena river El Estrecho. Here the river passes through a small canyon, where it is only 2.2 m wide. From here the tour continues by bicycle, passing the Mazamorras River to the archaeological park Alto de los Idolos. Afterwards ride to the Mortiño waterfall, where the transportation will pick you up to take you back to San Agustin.

Day 1: Bogotá
Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel in the historical city center of Bogotá.

Day 2: Bogotá, City tour - Suesca
In the morning, we discover Bogota´s most important sights by bicycle: the colonial old town, Plaza Bolivar, beautiful churches and the famous Gold museum. The tour continues up the Monserrate hill by cable car, where you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the city. In the afternoon, transfer to Suesca.

Day 3: Suesca – Lenguazaque – Guacheta
Today we bike from Suesca to Guacheta. Our way leads us through beautiful green hills, passing the lagoon of Suesca and the village Lenguazaque.

Day 4: Guacheta – Raquira – Villa de Leyva
From Guacheta we continue on to Raquira. This little village is famous for its traditional pottery and local handicraft.

Day 5: Villa de Leyva
During an entire day of biking (ca. 30 km) through the beautiful landscape of the region you will discover the „La Candelaria“ desert and will be able to visit for example the Sanctuary Ecce Homo and a more than 150 Million year old fossil of a dinosaur.

Day 6: Villa de Leyva - Duitama – Onzaga – San Juaquin
With the mountain bikes we start a stunning downhill ride starting in Villa the Leyva, passing various little villages on windy roads until Onzaga.

Day 7: San Juaquin - San Gil
We continue our tour with the bikes on spectacular Andean roads to San Gil, one of the hotspots for adventure tourism. When the weather is good, you can enjoy a fascinating view over the mountain range of the Sierra Nevada del Cocuy.

Day 8: San Gil – Barichara – Villa Nueva – Aratoca - Giron
This stage will lead us through the incredibly beautiful Chicamocha-Canyon. About 35 km will be done by bikes including challenging climbs and breathtaking downhill rides.

Day 9: Giron - Bucaramanga - Santa Marta - Tayrona
Transfer to the airport of Bucaramanga and flight to Santa Marta. From there transfer to the hotel close to Tayrona National Park.

Day 10: Tayrona – Minca – El Dorado
Transport from Tayrona to Minca. By bicycle, we start our tour to the natural reserve El Dorado at about 2200 masl. The reserve is an ideal place to observe a wide range of birds. On the way we will visit a traditional coffee farm.

Day 11: El Dorado – Cerro Kennedy – Santa Marta
Today there is the option to climb Cerro Kennedy before riding back down to Santa Marta.

Day 12: Santa Marta – Baranoa – Totumo - Cartagena
On our way from Santa Marta to Cartagena there is time to take a bath in the Totumo mud volcano. Part of the journey will be done by bike, along the Caribbean coast of Colombia.
